  1. Islam has NO minimum age for marriage. Prepubescent girls can be married off, sexually abused, and then divorced according to the 'god' of Islam [Quran 65:4]. 1400 years ago girls matured LATER than they do today in modern societies, due to their poverty and deficiencies in diet. Girl children had little value. Aisha was still playing with her dolls when Muhammed had sex with her. Playing with dolls meant she was still prepubescent. After her marriage at six years old, Aisha became ill and her hair fell out, probably with stress, so Muhammed waited until she was healthy and strong enough for her body to be able to bear his weight for the act of sex. Child marriage of girls was a Bedouin Arab custom. Now it has been sanctioned by the 'god' of Islam for ALL time and by the actions of Muhammed. What kind of religious leader has sex with a child? It's disgusting...🙁

Even if Muslim countries do propose a minimum age (under pressure from western governments) it is, as you say, still possible for a girl's guardian/father to get a judge and/or imam to allow him to marry her off at a very young age to an old man of 50 years, because it is #Sunnah. Islam is horrible for girls/women...🙁

  4. I believe she dropped out of school, and is now married with two small children. Her father used some of the royalties from her book to buy a third wife. I guess there wasn't enough of an incentive for her to fight any more.
