  1. Yes lots of media outlets such as BBC say they won't repeat the remarks because they are so *offensive*. Yet they are straight from the Islamic scriptures!!! I support #FreeSpeech. Islam has to deal with the fact that some of what they believe in is not compatible with the modern world.

  2. How is it 'abusive' to quote from the scriptures of Islam? Now that we live in globally connected world, Muslims have to come to terms with #freedom of speech. I'm glad Nurpur Sharma put light on the horrible matter of girl child marriage which is permitted by the god of Islam [Qur'an 65:4] and which is Sunnah [Aisha]. I am no fan of Narendra Modi, but I support the right of a child to grow up without being under threat of marriage to an older man.

  3. Why would anyone respect a religion which permits [Quran 65:4] marriage, sex with, and divorce of a CHILD who has not yet reached the stage of menstruation? I support free speech and the right of children not to grow up with the threat of abuse. I'm not a fan of BJP though.
