The Egyptian people don't really care about Gazans, even though a large number of them are originally from Egypt. Their main focus is hate for Israel, so anything that creates bad publicity for Israel is good. And how did all those weapons get into Gaza for Hamas to use?

Lobby the Egyptian government to allow for a humanitarian camp with field hospitals to be set up on the Sinai side of the Gaza border. It's grotesque and inhumane that you keep the Gazans locked in a war zone. Israel didn't want this war. Many Egyptians told me after the October 7 attack that "Hamas are our Muslim brothers". That made me feel sick.

@aimendoudar8680 : What is this nonsense about "right of return"? What country in the world has ever given the right for people to come back to their homes when they aligned with the attacking enemy militaries? Back to homes most of them didn't even own as many were recent arrivals to the area, today called "economic migrants". Anywhere else in the world these #displaced people would be taken in by the neighbouring countries and given citizenship. But in this case the Arab League passed a motion preventing resettlement because these unfortunate people are useful as a Trojan Horse to attack Israel from within, because Arabs keep LOSING their wars against Israel. These Arabs from Palestine are #weapons to undermine Israel. But now the world can see it's not working. Israel is growing stronger. These unpopular 'Palestinians' must be resettled elsewhere if they are still hostile to the Jewish state of Israel.

I was close by in Dahab, Sinai when it happened. The Egyptians around me celebrated. The told me "it was great. Hamas are our Muslim brothers. We hate Israel". It was sickening...🤮

@Sp3ll633 : I was in Dahab, Sinai, on October 7. The Egyptians around me celebrated. They said "it was great, Hamas are our Muslim brothers, we hate Israel". It made me feel sick 🤮. I don't doubt that the Egyptian Border Police contains members who feel the same way as the Egyptian tourists and people working in Dahab. There are probably many ways that they could have facilitated the smuggling into Gaza of weapons, just like they facilitate people smugglers getting people out of Gaza. I've lost a lot of my trust in Egyptian people.
