  1. The Jews have returned to settle their own land. It's disputed land and Israel has the stronger legal claim to it.

  2.  @animalunit : They didn't "run away". Thousands of Jews were taken to Europe as slaves by the Romans in the first century. Thousands were persecuted and had to leave in order to survive. They ended up as far away as Ethiopia, India, Spain and Portugal. Many were already in the Middle East and North Africa before Islam arrived and began to treat Jews and Christians as lower-class citizens. The indigenous Jews have now returned to their ancestral homeland, thanks to the Allied Powers defeating the Ottoman Empire in 1918. This is the beginning of the #rollback of Arab imperialism, don't you see? The Kurds will be the next indigenous peoples to reclaim their ancestral homeland.
