  1. What else would you expect in any Islamic country? There is NO freedom of speech in Islam. The UAE is a signatory to the Cairo Declaration of 1990 which affirms Islamic sharia as its source for human rights. The Cairo Declaration is very different to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights upheld by countries founded on the Judeo-Christian values of equality and freedom of speech and religion.
