Israeli Arabs enjoy equal rights under the law with Jews, Christians, Atheists, Druze, and people of all races and ethnics groups. Please cite any laws that reduce Arabs to 'second-class citizens'. The Palestinians living in the Palestinian Territories are not included in the study for Israel because they are not Israeli citizens, though many do benefit from Israeli for medical treatments and employment.

@abracadabra4800 : It's not a crime. When the Ottoman Empire was DEFEATED in 1918, their land was granted by the League of Nations to the Arab and Jewish occupants. Over 99% of the land was given to Arabs for self-determination. Those countries today are Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Less than 1% of the land was given to the indigenous Jews to create their home on their ancestral land, historic Palestine. And 21% of Israeli citizens today are Arabs who accepted life in the Jewish state of Israel. The Arabs are indigenous to the Arabian Peninsula. Get used to it. Israel is not going anywhere.

@tmpqtyutmpqty4733 : It's 'disputed' land. You can't occupy land that doesn't yet belong to anyone. Jordan invaded Israel and made a claim for the land, but the international community didn't accept that. Then Jordan lost it in another war and withdrew completely. Israel should extend sovereignty over Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) because it is the ancestral heartland of the Jewish people. In 1920 the Jewish people were granted the right to settle ALL of the British Mandate of Palestine. They lost 77% to Jordan in 1924 but there was nothing they could do about that. Israel can't extend sovereignty yet because by law they would be obligated to give full citizenship to the Arabs who live there. And because most of the Arabs are *hostile*, that would be too dangerous. UNRWA was set up to keep the Arabs in those areas as 'perpetual refugees' to make things very difficult for the Jewish people. The trend is now for Arab nations to accept Israel, and probably a solution will be found to the citizenship-demographic problem soon. Maybe by Israel doing a deal with Jordan or Egypt to give these Arabs citizenship, and then Israel could give 'residence status' to those who want to stay living there?

You could ask to be resettled in one of the surrounding Arab countries if you don't like living under Hamas or Fatah?

SCBotanicals : If you are living in the Palestinian Territories or Gaza, then I wish you all the best. But you must know that you have been weaponised by the Arab League in the fight (jihad) against the Zionist Jews. I would never agree to be used as a pawn in this game.

SCBotanicals : Australia welcomes refugees from the Palestinian Territories who come through the legal channels to Australia. I am disgusted that UNRWA has no intention of helping Palestinians to be resettled in a third country. People in the refugee camps in Lebanon are not permitted to apply for resettlement in Australia (you can find that online). You are all being USED as a weapon against Israel. I hope you wake up to that soon.

@abracadabra4800 : I was born in New Zealand and I have citizenship of both countries. Yes, when colonisation happened, there were negotiations with the indigenous people that today would not seem fair. But that unfair treatment has now been acknowledged. Reparations of some sort are happening, and I think overall things are pretty good for all people. The thing is that the world was a very different place 150-200 years ago. We have to look at how to make it equal and fair for all people today.

@hornerfarah2282 : Yes I do know about the report. However Palestinians are not Israeli citizens, who have *equal rights under the law*, Jews and non-Jews alike. I believe that the Palestinians who live in East Jerusalem also have a path to full Israeli citizenship which they have chosen to decline. Amnesty has created a new definition of 'apartheid' to justify their use of the term, but in reality the treatment of Palestinians by the IDF has come about due to the severe wave of jihad terror and the necessity for self-defence of all Israeli citizens, ie. the Arabs, Druze, Christians, Atheists, Jews, etc. If the Palestinian jihad groups, who are funded by Iran, chose to stop the violence, there would be little interference in the Palestinian Territories by the IDF. Then the Palestinian people could begin to make their own corrupt leaders accountable for their lower status of living compared with the Arabs who have full Israeli citizenship.
