What a stupid comment: "This is not really anything particularly to do with Islam." The CULT of Islam has a verse in the Qur'an telling Muslims to 'smite the necks of the unbelievers' [47:4]. How else would you expect a devout Muslim to interpret that?

@sakhter4044 : The problem is that a person born into a Muslim family is NOT able to leave the cult of Islam without the very real threat of some kind of punishment such as being put to death. It's even worse if they want to speak the truth about some of the horrible things in Islam (marriage of prepubescent little girls to men over 50 years of age, etc), because that will be called 'blasphemous' by Muslims. It doesn't matter what YOU think the 'correct explanation' is. When Islamic scholars in high places put out a fatwa to kill someone (smite their neck) it's very REAL. It's also a valid interpretation of the Qur'an. Freedom of speech is important to us in the west. If you think someone has made "nasty and evil comments" about Islam, then I hope you don't come to live in the west. There's a chance that you will hear such things quite often because Islam is not compatible with our human rights values.

Didn't Tony Blair invade Iraq because God told him to do it?

@GB-nu6ow : I think God was involved in Tony Blair's decision too? This is from The Telegraph: "Tony Blair viewed his decision to go to war in Iraq and Kosovo as part of a "Christian battle", according to one of his closest political allies." What a minefield. At least Jesus didn't go around telling his people to 'smite the necks of Unbelievers' which we see in the cult of Islam.
