Other international lawyers say that Israel still has the "primary legal claim" to all of the land 'from the river to the sea', as stated in the Likud 1977 election manifesto. This is based on the 1922 League of Nations ruling that the Jewish people are indigenous to the region, and were granted the right to reconstitute their ancestral homeland so long as the civil and religious rights of the current occupants was not prejudiced. It adopted the Balfour Agreement promise, which was totally fair because the Zionist Jews had agreed to fight with the British in return for territory if the Allies defeated the Ottoman Turks and Arabs of Palestine. The League of Nations later became the United Nations, but the agreement was adopted without change and is still valid today. The Arabs of the Hejaz (Arabia) were also promised territory if they fought with the British Lawrence of Arabia. When the Allies were victorious in 1918 the Ottoman land was ceded to them. The Hejazi Arabs were given 99% of the carved-up Ottoman Middle East land, today's Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Israel is less than 1% of the Ottoman land, and 20% of Israelis are from those Arab families who accepted life in the Jewish state in 1948. They have equal rights and freedom of religion. They made a good choice as Israel is here to stay and thriving...๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐

Great video, Tal๐ I've visited Morocco many times and last year I was so happy to see that, finally, the #indigenous Amazigh-Berbers can have their own language displayed on public signage. They've also won the legal right to name their children Amazigh names, not Arabic. And they frequently display the symbolic "free man" Amazighen flag. So the shoots are growing for the Amazigh-Berbers to throw off the Arabisation that they were forced to adopt. Many Berbers want to publicly become apostates from Islam, rather than secretly. And they want to explore their pre-Islamic faiths and religions, including Judaisim, Christianity, and of course Animism/Paganism. Israel is just the beginning of the #rollback of Arab Islamic imperialism/colonialism...๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐

ย @johnmcintyre800ย : Those 'Palestinians' whose ancestors left Judaism can claim historic links but they are no longer members of the primary "indigenous peoples" of the Holy Land land which is the Jewish people. The Jews have had a continuous connection to the Holy Land for 3500+ years, no matter where in the world they were taken to as slaves, or where they ended up after being persecuted to leave, or simply displaced by wars. DNA is not a criteria for being a member of an indigenous group.

Wars have consequences, and nations make alliances with others in order to win wars. The Holy Land has strategic, ideological and religious value for the Judeo-Christian west. What's wrong with the Allies wanting to have it back under the guardianship of its #indigenous Jewish people? When you lose a war that YOUR side started, like the Ottoman Turks and Arabs of Palestine did, you don't get to choose who ends up with what land. Most of the Arabs in the British Mandate of Palestine in 1947 only arrived after the British and Zionist Jews created economic opportunities. The Zionist Jews and the Arabs of the Hejaz aligned with the British in WWI. They did this in exchange for the promise of territory. The Hejazi Arabs were rewarded with 99% of the carved-up Ottoman Middle East land, much of it rich in oil, today's Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Israel is a tiny 1% and one-fifth of Israeli citizens are Arabs who have equal rights and freedom of religion. But that's still not good enough for you? You don't want the Jewish state of Israel to exist at all? ๐

Loved this, thank you Tal ๐. I recently visited the Museum of Jewish Life in Marrakesh and found it fascinating. Photos of the poor Atlas Mountain children were very moving. Have you been to Morocco? It would be great to see more Jewish history through your eyes.

Think of this as about "indigenous rights". The Jewish people are #indigenous to the Holy Land. They've been returned to their rightful place as guardians of their own land after the Ottoman Turks and Arabs of Palestine were defeated in 1918. Arab Muslims can live in the Jewish state of Israel with equal rights and freedom of religion, but they have to coexist peacefully.

Yes, they were given the chance to have a state of their own on Israel's land (or disputed land because Israel has not yet claimed sovereignty over it). The 'Palestinians' have now shown the world that they do not deserve a state, nor do they even want a state of their own. They just want Israel GONE. And that's never going to happen...๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐

The Arab occupants of Judea and Samaria can be offered "permanent residence status" after Israel extends sovereignty. That would give them equal civil rights, a travel document, and autonomy in their own cities. It should also give them a pathway to full citizenship after a lengthy qualifying period, providing they can pledge allegiance to the Jewish state of Israel. That's the status that the Golan Heights Druze and Arabs of East Jerusalem have. I doubt the 'Palestinians' would ever become a majority of Israel's citizens. Most Muslims would not pledge allegiance to the Jewish state, their birthrate is not higher than that of the Jewish Israelis, more Jews from around the world will be making aliyah, and the Arab population numbers have probably been inflated by the Palestinian Authority to get more international aid. Israel could also give the Arabs their own national voting rights as a territorial 'enclave' within Israel, like Puerto Rico in the US, or the Vatican City and San Marino in Italy.

ย @isaalmisry6187ย : That means theyโll opt to be resettled? Great. Itโs not their homeland. They lost it in WWI. The Ottoman Turks and Arabs of Palestine were DEFEATED. The land was ceded by the collapsing Ottoman Caliphate to the Allies as part of the Armistice Agreement. The two million Arabs who are equal citizens of Israel today are from families who accepted life in the Jewish state of Israel in 1948. They made a good choiceโฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐

Nice idea. But I don't think President Kais Saied is a fan of Jewish people or Israel, is he?

Listen to Muslims when they tell you that after they've reconquered Israel, they'll come for Andalusia, Khorasan, etc. Muslims proudly quote Quran 2:191 to me: "And sl@y them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than sl@ughter."
1
Islam is not just a religion. It is a political-legal ideology invented for invasion and conquest. The religious dimension is a 'cover'. It's nonsense to say that Muslims are "brothers" of the Jews, and it could be suicidal if taken to extremes. Live amongst Muslims in the Middle East. Hide your identity and listen to the way they talk about "al yahud"๐. Islam is a dark fear-based ideology. It's god only loves those who do what he commands, and who follow the 'excellent example' of his prophet.

Why would TheTravelingClatt respect an ideology (it's not just a religion) that permits a man to marry and and have sex with prepubescent girls? An ideology which permits men to have multiple wives? An ideology which has a political dimension that treats non-Muslims (kaffirs, infidels) as lower-class citizens with fewer legal rights? An ideology which permits a man to beat his wife if he fears her disobedience? I'm fine with Muslims as people, but I cannot respect Islam โช, sorry.

Most agreements like the Oslo Accords come with binding conditions that each side has to follow through on. The Palestinians have yet to make good on their side of the agreement so it's pretty much in the dustbin now.

Well said๐. Listen to Muslims when they tell you that after they've *conquered Israel*, they'll come for Andalusia, Khorasan, etc. They will even proudly quote Quran 2:191 to me: "And sl@y them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than sl@ughter."

"Problem with her logic is that Palestine do not care about your logic or laws, they do not matter, only the sharia matters." Very well pointed out. Plus their honour-shame culture, as you mention. Hence they will persist with their vio-lence because nothing rational or logical will sway the majority of them, sadly.

OK that was pretty passionate!!! But all too true. Thank you Talโฆ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐

"...they don't hate Jews"? Are you sure? Sadly I think you are talking about a very fringe group of Jordanians.
