  1. How do the Jews know which Muslims they can trust when the scriptures they follow are so anti-semitic? I want peace but it's not possible while Muslims follow the fundamentals of their texts and the sunnah of Muhammed.

  2.  @screamtoasigh9984 : Sadly, I agree you are right where #Islam is concerned. But other cultures/ideologies do seem to integrate quite well, so I wouldn't lump them all in the same basket. [Edit: Only Islam has scriptures that obligate Muslims NOT to integrate.]

  3. ​ @FNFNFN99KKK : I am mostly referring to the overall tone of your scriptures, which are in many cases negative towards particular groups of Jews. The Qur'an also instructs Muslims not to align themselves with Jews and Christians in a number of verses [eg. Qur'an 5:51]. Christians and Jews are both to be humbled, subdued, or even humiliated, as dhimmis in an Islamic regime [Qur'an 9:29]. I believe that Al-Azhar Sheikh Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi called the Jews "the enemies of Allah, descendants of apes and pigs" in a sermon in April 2002. Good relations with Jews is not being helped when Muslims hear such things from their scholars. I'm no expert on what constitutes anti-semitism, so feel free to enlighten me, but please don't come back and tell me that you have a different interpretation. What you as an individual Muslim think is not relevant to me, when I know from my own experience that the overall atmosphere in the Islamic world is one of extreme antipathy towards the Jews.
