@πικοσπικου-ν1ξ : Lots of questions but I'll try and answer...
Israel has agreed many times to an 'independent Palestine nation' but the Palestine leaders have so far rejected all of those deals as not being satisfactory to their needs. Hamas in Gaza even rejects Israel's right to exist at all. At the moment the Palestinian Territories have huge leadership problems. They are split into two parts, with Gaza ruled by Hamas, which is designated as a terror organisation by many countries. Fatah are in power in the West Bank and elections haven't been held for 16 years. When they do finally hold elections, it is possible that Hamas will take power over both Gaza and the West Bank (known by the Israelis as Judea & Samaria).
As for a 'mixed nation', Israel is already made up of 20% Arab-Israeli citizens. These citizens are active in government, they have political parties, their ministers sit in the Knesset (parliament), and some Arabs even serve in the military. There is a path to Israeli citizenship for Palestinians, but with the current violent uprisings by Arab-Israeli Muslims within Israel I would say that Israel is not likely to give citizenship to any more Arab Muslims.
Just under HALF of the Palestinians still want an independent nation from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, without Israel existing at all. Though some do say they would prefer to live in Israel rather than under a terrorist (Hamas) or corrupt (Fatah) government, and a few favour some kind of annexation of West Bank by Jordan and Gaza by Egypt. Here are the results of a poll conducted in 2019... https://www.washingtoninstitute.org/policy-analysis/half-palestinians-still-want-all-palestine-most-would-compromise-less
For population statistics, this is a 'rough guide' from 2020 of the collective Palestinian Arab population: 3.05 million in the West Bank, 2.05 million in the Gaza Strip, and 1.96 million live in Israel = total 7.06 million.
Islam contains a strong anti-Jewish message, and Islam is primarily a political ideology, so it is very difficult for Arab Muslims to accept living peacefully alongside Jews. However there is a small but growing trend for Arabs to leave Islam (especially in Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Sudan, and Yemen) so that could also bring about changes in the way Palestinians view Israeli Jews over the next few years... https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-48703377
As more Muslim-majority countries enter into economic agreements with Israel (as with the Abraham Accords) I think the idea of a 'independent Palestine state' will grow less important to the Arab nations, and to Muslims as a whole. But there is a bigger picture of world politics that affect things. With Iran being strengthened under Biden, and with Hamas being funded and trained by Iran, this area could remain volatile for some time. This is also a very emotional topic for people worldwide and that could influence the direction that Palestine independence takes.
