@castertroy9129 : I have been there and it was those visits that changed me from being a supporter of Palestinians to standing up for the legitimacy of Israel. I've also seen the thousands of Palestinians who are still held in refugee camps in Jordan TODAY. I have a friend who owns a beautiful property in Gaza who is right now trying to sell it in Dubai so he can move on with his life by resettling his family in a stable Muslim country like Turkey. Palestinians are being used to further the agenda of corrupt Muslim leaders.

@southside-hornbaby5325 : People need to remember that *wars have consequences*. In 1918 the British and Allies defeated the Ottoman Empire which ruled over the Palestine region. I'm happy that the Ottoman Turk Muslims were defeated because I never want to live under Islam and Sharia!!! The Jews were promised a homeland for their support to the British and Allies in the war effort. The liberated Palestinian Arabs were given more than 99% of the land previously ruled by the Ottoman Caliphate. They rule independently in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. The Jews are still struggling to get less than 1% of the land, enough to give them a viable and secure homeland. Give me a break with your cries of victimhood for the Palestinian Arabs. Millions of people across the world were displaced in the 40s-50s (the Indian sub-continent is a good example). Few of them are still refugees today. It is only the Palestinian Arabs who allow themselves to be used as 'pawns' in a game of lost Arab honour. A large proportion of Arab Muslims accepted Israeli law and live comfortable lives today. The Israelis are not going anywhere.

@castertroy9129 : I've also seen how good the lives are for those Arab Muslims who did accept citizenship of Israel. They make up nearly 20% of the population and are doctors, lawyers, politicians, human rights workers, start-up technicians, agricultural experts, etc. They live far better lives than those Palestinians who refused to recognise Israel and who are kept in open-air prisons or camps, with funding from the international community and UNRWA going to their leaders and being used for continual jihad against the Jews.

@southside-hornbaby5325 : I understand that losing the Holy Land is a huge shame for the Islamic world. I support those Arab countries which have signed the Abraham Accords and are now normalising ties with Israel through economics, science, trade and friendship.

@southside-hornbaby5325 : The Holy Land was invaded and conquered by Caliph Umer in 637-38, and losing it to Israel was a big blow to many Muslims. It will be an even bigger blow to their honour when they lose control of the Temple Mount, which I think is inevitable. Going to war on the side of the Germans in WWI was a fatal mistake. However, after the collapse of the last globally recognised Islamic Caliphate in 1918, there has been relatively little loss. Just something like 0.5% of land which Israel now claims as their viable homeland.

@southside-hornbaby5325 : I'm talking about the collapse of the Ottoman Empire in 1918 during World War One. That was a critical turning point for the Middle East. The Arabs got self-determination over a massive 99.00% of the Middle East land area, and the Jews got a tiny homeland centred on Jerusalem.

@suzanyassine9422 : I need to see some hard proof of this before I believe it. What we do know for sure is that Hamas use women and children in their warfare instead of evacuating them to an area of safety beforehand.

@dallastex4561 : You're welcome to follow the thoughts of Gabor Mate, but I don't. I'm more interested in the facts of what is happening today in Gaza. How Palestinians who live under Hamas authoritarian rule are treated, and what THEY say about it. I have a Palestinian Muslim friend who is right now in Dubai trying to sell his Gaza land so he can move his whole family to Turkey because of Hamas. He wants stability. He no longer wants his family living under a violent jihadi regime which is also corrupt.

@dallastex4561 : Here's an account from someone who actually lives in Gaza under Hamas. He has a rather different perspective than Gabor Mate: "I'm a 31 year old Palestinian and have been living in Gaza for all my life. We're so scared right now and we want this to be over but a lot us (secretly, we can't say publicly) actually know Israel is in the right (yes, a lot of us here know Israel is not the one waging war). When we voted for Hamas more than 15 years ago, we thought they would let us have regular elections and turn this area into an amazing, democratic Palestinian land. But they regularly pay us massive money to rally on the streets and to tell the media Israel is the agressor and we badly need the money so we accept. Hamas officials told us that we have to stay in our work buildings when the Israel army warns us to leave before they bomb the buildings, if we don't Hamas will jail our families. We risk not moving in the hope that we don't get hurt so our families don't get jailed. We also get paid to hold fake funerals where we carry 'killed' children on stretchers in the streets (they're just pretending to be dead). What I'm trying to say is that what you see on the media is Hamas making us look like war victims, but really we are victims of Hamas who will do what Hamas says because of our desperation for money. We don't get aid even though apparently most countries say they give aid. We use to live peacefully with the Israeli's before Hamas controlled us and now we rely on Hamas to survive. Some of us have tried to escape to Israel but Hamas will also kill our family if they find out. We pray that one day Hamas will stop using all they money for rockets and terrorists and use its money for us, to build us parks and schools and hospitals and give us food. Right now I pray for the violence to stop."
