This investigation apparently began four years ago when Russell was speaking about less-controversial things. Does that fit your theory?

@ligaskirbauska8652 I think the law on consent is a bit more nuanced when there is a large age and power difference.

@pablohoney368 : I’ve only ever listened to him talk about practising Transcendental Meditation, which I found really good. It’s other people who say he’s more recently veered into ‘conspiracy theory’ territory. Even Brand himself says he might have been targeted because he’s gone up against powerful industry groups. Has he?

@michaeldooley5398 I'm also sick of people profiting off of war. It's ironic that the industry matrix which enabled Russell Brand to be a rather 'successful' sexual predator has now turned against him. I wonder who will be next?

@brownrabbit61 : I don't personally care about the age gap. Older men can be very attractive when you are new to sexual activity. The problem is whether a man implies that a girl might achieve some career success by partnering with him. I'm not saying that Russell did this, but there's no denying that he was in a position of success, wealth, and power which could have implied it. And he's written pages about how he manipulated girls to get past their emotional boundaries.
