I'm shocked that the Egyptian people didn't call for a secure humanitarian zone to be set up in Sinai, just outside the Rafah border crossing, for babies, children, pregnant women, mothers of small children, the elderly and the sick. Where else in the world have vulnerable people been kept TRAPPED in a war zone? It's totally inhumane. I know they have value to Hamas as human shields, and dead children make for very good publicity against Israel, but why doesn't the world ask Egypt to permit a safe zone being set up in Sinai?

  2.  @guitarjism  : Yes I am very well aware that Egypt doesn't want Hamas anywhere near Sinai, that's why I specifically said a "secure" humanitarian zone for children, mothers of young children, the sick and elderly.... no men or teenage boys. I'm still shocked that Egyptians are so inhumane towards their fellow Muslims, especially the vulnerable children.
