  1. My New Zealand grandfather gave his life fighting the Ottoman Turks in Palestine in WWI. Sadly, he succumbed to malaria only days before the Ottomans surrendered in November 1918. He’s buried in the British Military Cemetery near Jerusalem. I’m very proud that he played his part in liberating all of the Ottoman Empire lands for the occupants, and I’m very happy that it allowed the indigenous Jewish people to reconstitute their ancestral homeland of Israel…🙏

  3.  @kijyeho : I guess you are aware that out of the DEFEAT of the Ottoman Caliphate the Arabs were granted 99% of the dismembered Ottoman lands in the Middle East? Today those countries are Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The #indigenous Jewish people were promised less than 1% of that Ottoman land on which to reconstitute their ancestral home, and they share it with one-fifth Arab Muslim citizens who have equal rights under the law with Jews and other non-Jews.
