  1. Countries care (even China) because all economies are interconnected these days through the global marketplace. If your country has riots breaking out, foreign companies will stop investing money with you. But Modi is taking India back into the dark ages... so let's see how this turns out.

  2. Melodic Nostalgic : Yes it is time that India practised REAL secularism, but that means "separation of religion from government". It doesn't mean people can't practice their own religions publicly. It means that the government doesn't get involved in ANY religion at all. Stop putting a person's religion on any government documents like birth certificates, school forms, passports, etc. Stop discriminating on the basis of religion in any situation! It's against human rights. People have the right to be treated equally under the law.
