OMG. Ed Husain is practising his own fairytale kind of Islam. Nice, but it won't solve the problem of Islam in western cultures. Anyone who understands Islam knows that practising Muslims are obligated to struggle (practice jihad, which can be non-violent jihad of the pen, or violent jihad of the knife) to live under Islamic sharia law and not British man-made law.

@malpreece5008 : Yes, Muslims going against sharia would probably be 'haram'. But it is a step towards the weakening of Islam so I would happily support it.

Islam is not just a religion. It is primarily a *political ideology*, with laws which apply to all of a Muslim's actions. The 'religious' dimension is just a facade.
