2:13 I think a big question that needs to be asked regarding that creativity is whether it is actually being creative or just replicating others' creativity. (I am personally all for ai, as long as it is done ethically. while I do consistently argue against the ai art bots, my issue is entirely on the [unauthorized use of copyrighted matterials] area of the debate. I find that the claims that it will put people out of work, while arguably valid, are arguments that has been waged against pretty much every new technology, and which have lost the battle every time; society has ruled that technological progress is more important than the people put out of work by the automation.) 17:12 on a more relevant point: does Raleigh scattering not depend on the composition of the atmosphere? I am having a hard time understanding why blue light specifically would be scattered regardless of atmospheric composition? regarding the question of whether ai has a place in the classroom, and how to prevent it being used to let students ace tests without knowing anything, one idea (albeit a slightly extreme one) is to give verbal exams. to my knowledge, we don't have any ai systems right now that are able to do this sort of thing with realistic human voice, after all
