  1. you say this isn't a conspiracy, but this is sounding an awful lot like textbook conspiracy to me: there is an agreement in place between mcdonalds and taylor to actively and intentionally defraud the franchise owners. Both mcdonalds and taylor take specific steps in furtherance of this agreement, too: with mcdonalds forcing their stores to use a machine which taylor specifically designed to be held hostage, with the service fees as ransom.
