@hia5235 "Attila the Hun wiped out the Roman population of the Balkans." The natives are the Thracians known today as the Walachians. They make a significant part of the population in Greece, Romania and Bulgaria but have assimilated to these political entities. Some still prefer to call themselves Walachians, but they are in extreme minority. The Slavs are just settlers from Poland and Ukraine regions, but many of them came with the Volgars (Latinised to Bulgars). Slavs and Germans have always been primitive and backward, until they moved south. They made no significant contributions until the industrial revolution which was fuelled by colonial plunder. Then they became "Europeans". Evropa was the mother of the Aegean King Minos. By this definition we are looking at an obscure island civilisation. Not a continental one. 😀
