@gurumagoo "Soviet dentistry was very crude."
Soviet dentistry involved ruining schoolkids' teeth by having interns practice exam and drilling on them, at the schools. This resulted in the need for crowns very early on and the material of choice was usually stainless steel. To my shock and horror, a lot of Western countries have similar Soviet dental programs, and no doubt, interns are ruining children's' teeth.
"Western intelligence services recruited a lot of dentists and trained them to spot and identify the shitty Russian fillings, caps, bridges, and root canals and report their findings to state security."
Well this has to be the nonsense of the year. Did you grow up watching "The Baron", "The Avengers" or some Hollywood fiction? The USSR was a Western created and owned corporation with a Chairman, a Board and a Secretary to boot. Why do you think the West was sharing technology with them (and it went both ways, btw)?!
"there is no way another German dentist could have done such poor dental work"
Another idiotic brain fart. My father had the very best of dental care with solid gold bridge as a West German dentist of that time would have recommend. I needed a crown and since it was on a back molar, I opted for stainless steel. I had it done in Bulgaria, dirt cheap. Guess what - the "superior western dental work" lasted only 8 years. By contrast, my Soviet style crown is doing well in its 20s.
You obviously hold some pathological hatred towards the Russians, I get that, but do you really have to write this silly nonsense?
