  4.  @Commander_Boreale  Do you even know what the word "rus"means? It is a Greek mispronunciation of the Bulgarian word ръж (rye) it is where the word рыж derives from. This what we nicknamed the Kievans when Yakov Svetoslav fled to Bulgaria to escape from the Mongols (13th century). Our Greek/"Byzantine" neighbors can not pronounce the word so they rendered it as rus.
