  5. One doesn't own a gun in Australia, unless they are a farmer. In the City one can only "own" a gun at the gun club. The person buys a gun then gifts it to the state for safe keeping.

  6.  T D  I guess the rich can afford to pay double the price for a guns. It is illegal to transport a gun which has not been disabled or locked so it doesn't make much difference. Either buy an expensive gun safe or keep it at the club.
