You are right, he should have authentic British name like Brutus, Stavros, Patroclus ("Patrick"), Yazon ("Jason"), Pericles... Why on earth should any Englishman care about anything Greek on the Isles, Dave? What does "British" mean to you?

@nickg2431 I think you've missed my point. British is the opposite of English. The last thing you want to do is celebrate the Greek hegemony over the Isles.

@christophermichaelclarence6003 Yes it is definitely of Greek origin. It translates to "bearer of worthiness". The Christian rendition is of later date.
