@gregchijoff9959 Everything I wrote is correct, including the flagged comments which disappeared. Do they still brainwash you that "the Greeks gave Christianity to Russia"? Russia was renamed to Russia for the same reason Ukraine was renamed to Ukraine - to divide Bulgaria. The "Romanovs" only got "elected" because they financed Poland and Lithuania against Moscow. The Bolyars put their hands up and did the dumbest thing, allowing Greeks to the throne, to make the Poland problem go away.

@ronv6637 What "civilisation"? I am willing to bet that you don't even know where the real "Greece" was located. They invented money and did a lot of trade. Oligarchs like the Medicis and the Borgias pretty much invented the "civilisation" bit during their Renaissance Classicism. People of various nationalities published under fictional Greek philosopher Pen Names to please the Bankers.
