It was King Boris I who ordered the Bible to be translated into Bulgarian (aka "Russian"). The word "Rosia" was imported by the Greek "Romanovs" and it is a misspelling of the Bulgarian word rozh - rye, red hair, offspring.

They labelled everyone in Thrace a "hellen" just like they label everyone "british" in the Isles of the UK. It is not an ethnic group. The double-headed phoenix is also their symbol and was imported to the Moscow Principality by the Byzantine Merchant Bankers - the "Romanovs", anagram for "Romei".

@b89976 From the 17th century onwards when the Grk "Romanovs" usurped the throne by financing Poland as a constant enemy. The Principality of Moscow has nothing to do with Byzantium and the Grk Orthodox. It was King Boris I who kicked out the Grk clergy for attempting to hellenise the masses, and ordered the bible to be translated into Bulgarian aka "Russian".
