@sellerclothes2800 I should have mentioned that the balloon was flying at an altitude at which the Patriot system is designed to shoot down ballistic intercontinental missiles. The F-22 struggled to shoot it down at that altitude. The truth of the matter is - the US doesn't have a viable Nuclear missile defence.
