  1. The two Greek colonies (Lebanon and Israel) belong to "Eric" Duke of Rodos in France, and his nephew the 5th Baron "Nathaniel" Duke of Rodos, formerly from the UK, now living in Switzerland. French is very popular in Lebanon.

  2.  @thinkbeforeyoutype7106  Lebanon and Palestine were colonised by the "Sea Peoples" from West Turkey and Crete, or in plain English - they are Greek. A "jew" was a profession in the Greek Merchant Navy, whose job was to sell retail, what the Greek ships brought to the colonies - wholesale. So many of the first "jews" were also Greek.
