The reason your big progressive friends at Walmart and Nike go to China, is because they assemble more complex items, and they are penny chasers. Lobbying is only a fraction of the money that goes to a congressperson. There is also money under the table, offshore accounts, foreign aid embezzlement, contracts for friends and relatives, etc. Don't hold your breath for your progressive MSM friends to investigate or inform you on that.
