Starlink is 4G, pretend satellite technology. It has 1280 4G micro-antennas instead of 1 or 2 as in a mobile phone. This extends the range but not greatly. It is the same as for an AESA Radar, because it is essentially the same thing. Range is also dependent on the weather and obstacles between the antenna and the cell towers.

@codaalive5076 It is pretend satellite, because that's what it is. I don't know why the US Gov (the real owner of FakeX) needs to maintain this deception. Some people are happy, others are not. It is an improvement of a regular 4G modem ofcourse, and the closer you are to the nearest 4G towers the better internet you will get.
