  2. I remember having to wait 2 rings for Caller ID in 1994-ish. That wasn't much of an issue, though, as I grew up in Alabama and my grandmother used to tell me to always let the phone ring twice before answering. She said it gives the impression that you weren't just sitting around waiting for it to ring. 😂
