The whole GOP carried Trump's hideously dangerous lie about a stolen election forward because they immediately understood that whatever the fate of Trump's election, THEY could use it in the states to inflame voters toward unneeded and un-American voter suppression laws in the states, where the rubber really meets the road on elections. So that's what they did, and they got those laws. They never looked back, and to this day they repeat those lies, because they'll surely want to tighten the screws further when the moment's ripe. And the fact that on Tuesday, Trump told Lex what's his name in a podcast that he DID lose the 2020 election "by a whisker" won't change anything, because by the end of the week, that admission will have been made a billion years ago, MAGA time, and so be of no meaning at all to them. They didn't even hear it anyway.

I hope she scorns him and his endless self serving chaos completely. She can begin from a point that everyone in the galaxy knows he wouldn't be retreating and coming up with all this other fuckery unless it was entirely self serving in his estimation. And she can so so clearly. And that NO ONE OWES IT TO HIM to accomidate his self serving motives and strategems. He backed out of a scheduled debate. He agreed to the debate. In terms of scheduling it makes no difference whether it's Joe or Kamala on the stage with him, so again, this is all about what he perceives to be his advantage. It shouldn't be accommodated. She can say, "I'll say this one last time. I will be at the originally scheduled debate, ready to go. If Trump is too chicken to show up, I will use the occasion to make an address to the nation of my positions. The end." You see how he treated those women of the NABJ. He will treat her the same way, for the same reasons. It won't be a debate he intends, it will be his raging abuse of a Black woman. She shouldn't give him the opportunity. We know she can handle him, and she knows and he knows she can handle him. But the spectacle he intends should be denied him. WE HAVE HEARD ENOUGH FROM HIM. Symbolically, she can present it as isolating him in a padded cell, closing the door behind him, and locking it on behalf of the nation. I think that would sell. The majority of the nation is ready for it.

Yes, but what will the incompetent, unethical, unintellectual, and precedent disrespectful manipulators on the SCOTUS majority say about those false electors. Coney Barrett has spoken up on that issue, but that's still a minority of the justices. NO ONE SHOULD TRUST ROBERTS, ALITO, GORSUCH, THOMAS and KAVANAUGH,. They're ALL financially corrupt, and at least two of them are insurrectionist-friendly and not at all discrete about it.

Tim, I think Trump WILL duck a debate with her, and more than that, as she continues to flay and torture him over the coming weeks, I think he'll be absolutely in the throes agonizing for an excuse to quit completely, with some phony excuse back story. I mean think of it. He feels no loyalty to the GOP as a party (such as it is anymore) and what it wants. He has nothing but scorn for it. He can't and never does hew to what his handlers and advisers tell him to do - like today, which was a supernova of infantile stupidity. And at the end of the day, if he can abandon the GOP and the nomination just to duck out for 15 minutes to take a dump and grab a donut, he'd do it. Kamala is torturing him, and I'm almost to the point of believing that he would stride into Rikers or the Georgia State Prison System or / and federal prison , screaming about the injustice all the way of course, just to avoid what's in store for him over the next five months - and another loss in November.

The entire nation should be applauding Hegseth's mother for her parental candor. When you're a parent, you're a parent until you die, and yes folks, it can be a massive burdern. She has a right to speak out, and speak to her despicable son that way, and as a parent myself, I call it heroic. What, you're supposed to turn a blind eye to the things your adult children do that harm others? I salute her. And when your adult offspring is a menace to society like Hegseth is, I salute her again for calling him out, condemning him, and leaking this email (!!!) She shouldn't have to stew in silence about his present course, and his unfitness. She's doing a national service.
