They see their own sorry selves and miserable characters in him, and so are animated by the fact he gained such power, and his false promise to them that they can join him at the "apex" by supporting him and buying the tripe he sells on line. He and they are the absolute bottom of the bottom of the barrel in this nation. All nations have the like of them, though. It's just that ours have less to bish about.

  2. For me, that would be walk out their door, walk away, never look back, and never call or answer their calls. Let them wallow in their handiwork. Honestly, the idea that parents and children continue to writhe all over each other when the children are into their adulthood is a historically recent cultural phenomenon. The idea that it should always remain lovey dovey is even weirder. At the end of the day, your kids are different people with different personalities, and its fairly natural that you'd find each other unbearable given enough time. It's not a sin.
