Same method. All for a stunt "flex" to boost his presidential campaign prospects.

Johnson is a small town, bush league lawyer from an area where all you need to get ahead, and elected, is to jabber "in tongues", and brand yourself a "KRIS - CHIN", and you can impress the rubes and gather votes and power, and that's what Johnson's done to get where he is. The MAGA GOP wanted a weak fish in that job, but once he was in, the Dems saw him as a likely, possible tool too, and so now Johnson is in a role he can't think his way out of, he's working with the Dems as he MUST and so enraging the bonkers "Freedom Caucus", and lacks the intellectual resources, ethics and morality to do the right thing.
