  2. Joe Biden is not "the Biden administration." Joe Biden is the leader of hundreds and hundreds of younger, experienced, talented and patriotic people in government who, together with the president, constitute the Biden administration. They were recruited and attracted to serve in his administration because they see what's admirable about Biden, and all of us should too. Trump attracts only future felons and momentarily careless people who come to despise him and hate themselves for having aided and abetted his crimes. It's way overboard "Chicken Little" to get too agitated about how he did last night. In fact, all day today in NC and NY, he was clear, energetic, and did fine.

  3. One of the scariest obvious realities, to me, is that there are millions of Americans who would applaud and participate in exactly what you described. The same thing was true of Nazi Germany. Once a malign revolutionary seizes power and begins to terrorize some commonly beset part of the population, people who had insisted they never would participate in that begin to fall in line out of fear, or malign ambition. Suddenly, the menace spreads beyond the Jews, Blacks, Muslims, Gays, Gypsies, Socialists or "subversives", and is deployed against EVERYBODY in the society, including loyalists, as the dictator grows more power mad and paranoid. Read what Hitler did to his loyal SA columnists and Ernst Rohm. And look how Trump treats and slanders those he claims are "disloyal" to him. He's nuts. Look what Trump has done to the entire GOP. He has revealed it, and destroyed it as anything like a positive force in this country. And this happened almost overnight. Gary Abernathy, a GOP Righty pundit, said a few years ago "The GOP was always this, just waiting for its Trump to come along." Yeah, we know Gary. We know.

  4. He's 80. He had a cold. He'd probably taken some cold med or other. He was likely over-prepared by his staff. But only being 80 and having a cold will look like he did most of the time. And he was fine in North Carolina today, clear, energetic and well-received. I'm voting for Biden. His opponent is a 34x convicted felon with more convictions heading his way - a lot more. He's a rapist, a pathological liar, a fraud and a cheat. I don't understand how his enthusiasts don't understand what that means for his conduct in power. He was stone cold sober apparently, and apart from still coming off as deranged through the last half of the debate, he lied incessantly about every single subject, and there were many, because he has the concentration of a horse fly, and hit every subject under the sun. And lied about all of them. There is no choice. I'm voting for Biden too. He has been an able, admirable figurehead for an administration full of very capable talented, younger people. Together they have done great things. I want more of that. I'm not gonna sweat Joe looking 80 and tired for 45 minutes last night.
