  1. Pre war, Russia occupied 1/6 of the earth's land mass. It has half the population of the USA (less). It claims it must have it's "sphere of influence." Yet most of Russia is vastly underdeveloped. Is there a single indoor toilet east of Moscow? It's got a 10th century extraction economy, which explains why apart from extraction, it doesn't really build anything of merit or even note anymore. And so, wrecking Marinka, it claims a.....victory? Another wreckage strewn and unpopulated goat pasture? You'd think they'd see the only advantage in territorial gain to be the population and industry gain that might come with it, but no - it CLAIMS the ruined land is...enough? These are the aims of some tenth rate and brain shot 19th century "Mordor" war lord. It seems to only be about the killing to them, and nothing else. Theirs is the small town criminal bar room drunken brawler's conception of a "win." This is a humiliation to any sane power. But as Putin has himself insisted, we don't "get" Russians, because Russians "are different." They do sure seem to be. In a way that demands complete and permanent neutralization.
