It's getting so translations of Russian propaganda sound as lunatic as translations of Chinese and North Korean propaganda always have - like diabolical comic book villain shrieking, or else just completely delusional, pretzel logic nonsense and nuttery. This guy on Solovyev's show is a good example of the latter. "How can the West get us, Russia, so wrong? We're peace lovers! Peace MAKERS!! We've just been kidding for the last almost two years about rattling our nukes and vaporizing DC, Paris, London and Berlin! It was all good fun! And my favorite - "THAT'S not who we ARE?!!!!!"
