He also said voters with children should have their votes count more than voters without children. And after he said it, he said he absolutely meant it. There's no defending that.

@erikt1713 Taxation without representation is a terrible idea. If a childless person's vote is going to count for less, then they should also pay far less taxes. The idea presumes childless people don't care about the future of the country or other people's children. That's insulting. Decent people care and childless people usually have family members with children and they love those children. George Washington didn't have children! As you pointed out, a parent can't vote for a child because the child might have voted opposite their parents anyway.

@cynthiavaldez5941 Imagine having to prove you can't have children or can't afford to have them in order for your vote to count more. Imagine paying taxes that support schools and having your vote count less. Imagine working with children as teacher or healing children as a doctor, yet being told you have no stake in the future because you are personally childless.
