Hillary keeps doubling down on the insults because everyone in her circle looks down on blue collar workers. Few of them are friends with anyone who is blue collar, so they can keep on repeating that they are racist and sexist and actually believe it. In reality, blue collar people are being reasonable to notice that their lives have gotten anywhere from materially worse to outright desperate. If white collar jobs started disappearing, do you think white collar workers would be a bit upset? The truth is that THEY DON'T CARE about the blue collars as long as their own world is right.
