Late boomer and independent-libertarianISH here. Emphasis on the "ish". I might be totally wrong, but I'm not seeing clear generational trends. I see plenty of women online in their 20s and 30s who are Hillary Clinton bots. It's disheartening. Of course there are plenty of Boomer and Gen X women who are the older versions of these young women, but why are so many younger women on board? Other than the increase in tattoos, I can't tell them apart. They tend to be highly educated and incapable of analysis somehow. They are ignorant that there is an oligarchy and a deep state working against everyone's interests but their own. They are pro-globalism because it's what they've been sold. It works for them in their coastal cities. They fail to see the despair out there because it doesn't touch them except in election results brought on by "racists". They were silent while Obama bombed the hell out of other countries, quietly deported illegal aliens, and allowed the Occupy Wall Street protests to be silenced. NOW, these women sing "I Can't Be Silent" in their marches. The irony is vomit inducing. Like you, I can't be pigeonholed. Am I right? No. Am I left? No. Depends on the issue. I never follow a party line. I do my own thinking. I agree that Trump is a stepping stone. It will be interesting to see if the various alt groups reach any consensus in the future. These groups uniting would be the worst nightmare of the oligarchy.
