  1. The women in the IDF who had the job of monitoring the border had been writing reports on Hamas doing drills for months. They got no response from their superiors. They said that they were all telling their families something big was going to happen and they worried about which of them would be on duty when it happened.

  2.  @JakeWitmer  I read about it a while ago and can't remember where I read it. You can probably find the article if you search. Some of the ones on duty the day of the attack did lose their lives.
