  1. Income inequality has not always been anywhere as big an issue as it is now. It certainly wasn't in the 1950s, 60s, 70s. It has grown with globalization.

  2. Apparently, you don't even need to be a millionaire democrat to not give a damn. Look online. You'll see plenty of democrats in the professional class insisting that Trump won because of racism. Period. Any attempt to bring up the economy falls on deaf ears, because the economy is working for them personally.
