  1. I lost my nearly 16-year-old cat a week before Thanksgiving 2021. Like Bruiser, she was the most affectionate cat I'd ever seen. Like Bruiser, she'd sleep with her head on my pillow. Having her in my life was worth the inevitable grief, but the grief is still strong over two months after her death.
