  1. It is never "just" nine months. For every woman who dies in childbirth, 70 women almost die in childbirth. My own mother almost died of Toxemia and went into convulsions after having me. She got a hernia from one of my sibling's birth. Pregnancy and childbirth carry health risks and possible physical damage. Not to mention that some women are put on bed rest if they have a high-risk pregnancy, and would lose their jobs. Lastly, there is the dedication it takes to bring up a child. We need to stop acting like pregnancy and childbirth aren't life-changing.

  2. Yeah, that appearance rating made no sense. Looks are about more than height, and there's nothing ugly about his face. He's cute.

  3. Why are these discussions always between Baby Boomers and Millennials? Is no one aware that there are still older generations than Boomers who are still alive? The current situation can't be solely laid at the feet of Boomers. It wasn't until the nineties that we even had a Boomer as president, and he was considered very young for a president. We had generations older than Boomers who were still in power not so long ago. My parents are both 81-years old and only retired in 2001. People their ages were still in Congress and other powerful positions in the early 2000s. But I never see talks between the Silent Generation and Millennials, even though the former generation shaped policy as much as anyone.
