  1. Why are these discussions always between Baby Boomers and Millennials? Is no one aware that there are still older generations than Boomers who are still alive? The current situation can't be solely laid at the feet of Boomers. It wasn't until the nineties that we even had a Boomer as president, and he was considered very young for a president. We had generations older than Boomers who were still in power not so long ago. My parents are both 81-years old and only retired in 2001. People their ages were still in Congress and other powerful positions in the early 2000s. But I never see talks between the Silent Generation and Millennials, even though the former generation shaped policy as much as anyone.
