I know what you say is very very true for the most part. However, sometimes genetics trumps wealth. I am thinking of a fairly well-known blogger in her sixties who grew up in wealth. She looks at least fifteen years older than she is, in spite of major generational wealth and living a very healthy life. A nurse thought she was her father's sister and he was in his late eighties at the time!

@AlextheENTP As someone who was once married into a wealthy family, I can vouch for the fact that it's a delusional belief. The person who was so wealthy got there because the parents poured all their resources into them and then a series of lucky meetings and lucky breaks happened. They were also mean and selfish - nothing special at all.

@AlextheENTP True . . . and given the history of how so many made their old money or exploited others, there's nothing necessarily honorable about being one of them.

@user-gu9yq5sj7c Sure. But the person I originally commented about who looks very old for her age has always eaten extremely healthy and is thin and fit. Lives in California, which gives her better access than many other locations. In her case, it's just her genetics.
