@psychacks I know this is an older video, but I'm surprised that you as a mental health professional are not aware of studies showing that the closer the couple is in age, the greater success of the marriage. I didn't even go out of my way to look that up. I ran across it by accident. If I recall correctly, even a small age gap was less successful than if the couple was the exact same age.

@saintoflastresorts2272 Relationships or marriage? The divorce rate is correlated with education and socioeconomic factors. College educated couples have only a twenty-something percent divorce rate. This is unfortunately partly due to too many employers demanding degrees for jobs that don't really require it, which has made high school only grads less financially secure. Recently, some employers have decided to quit demanding degrees when they aren't necessary, so this could change.

@EC-yl7xk Men don't even look up studies on women or know anything about our bodies. And when they do, they don't keep researching to see what else if out there, so when they find some outdated or poorly done study, they believe it.
