@mymai2792 The couple's house is right by the PRIVATE GATE to their neighborhood the protestors BROKE DOWN. Watching a mob of strangers literally break down an iron gate is not going to give an onlooker peaceful vibes. They called security and the police and no one came. After all the violence in their city, they weren't crazy to be alarmed. Who the hell breaks down a gate? Not usually peaceful people. Calling the lady overweight really undermines your message, btw. Her looks have nothing to do with anything.

@mymai2792 Unarmed? Actually a photographer who was photographing the protesters confirmed at least one of the protesters was carrying a rifle, so you don't know what you're talking about.

@mymai2792 Google is your friend. Use it. A photographer WHO WAS THERE, the same one who provided the photos to the media, said at least one protestor had a rifle that he saw personally. The couple said several were armed. The couple said the mob was screaming at them, so they went back in the house to get weapons to defend themselves. Reporters are not perfect, especially when a story first breaks. Since then, reporters have been talking to the photographer and got the information about the armed protestor directly from him. When 300 people break down a private gate next to your house, run through the gate and scream at you, you don't get warm fuzzy feelings about their intentions. The couple didn't shoot anyone, so cut the hysteria. They just made it clear they were prepared to defend their property and told the mob to move away from their house.
