  1. It is true, the Canadian dollar and they British pound fell because of threats of tariffs from Trump. The Euro didn't because it's a way bigger market. Trump is pissing everybody off with universal tariffs. If these tariffs go into affect allies are gonna be even more pissed.

  3. They did. France build the Maginotline to defend against the Nazi's from 1930 to 1938, but Hitler went through the Ardennes. France was already at war with the Nazi's before Hitler invaded too. They declared war 2 days after the Nazi's invaded Poland. You need to go back to history class. The only country that wasn't expecting it was the Netherlands, who were neutral like Switserland.
