@HungaryBased Hungary would still be in NATO too. Imagine what happens to Hungary if they get out of NATO. It's gonna be the next Ukraine. Good luck with that! Be carefull what you wish for.

@พพพพ-ช7ท The funding of the EU is higher than what they pay. You think a country that gets 40 billion with a gdp of a 176 billion pays more than they put in. LMAO It's the best deal Hungary ever made in history. The richer EU countries pay for that my friend.

We can give them nothing at all and make them pay the EU membership fee. That's billions coming to the rest of Europe. I wanted them out first, but without funding.. keep them in.

@HungaryBased You think that people in Hungary would like to get out of EU? You don't know your own country. There will be a huge resistance in your country against Orban. Orban already is a enemy of EU policy, nothing changes for the rest of Europe. You should be worried, not us. We will have more EU funding in the end of the day. Hungary takes more funding than they put in. So the rest of Europe would be winners. Orban already takes the the side of Putin, so nothing really changes in that regards too. I don't see the downside here.

@HungaryBased By the way.. Taking more money in than you spend and not comply with EU policy and basic democratic values means that Hungary is exploiting us, not the other way around. Hence the cutting funding part. We can't kick you out, otherwise you're would been kicked out instead. The EU is taking out the trash so the speak.

@HungaryBased Serbia is expected to complete its negotiations by the end of 2024, allowing it to join the Union by 2025 Ukraine is also gonna join the EU and definitely not gonna help a friend of Russia. Hungary is the only country in the EU that's against sanctions to Russia. Do you read your own newspapers!? You think Poland or Turkey is gonna help a friend of Russia!? They both hate Russians more than the rest of the EU. I don't threaten your country.. Orban does. I'm just painting a picture of what the future of Hungary looks like. I actually want Hungary to be in the EU, but not under the dictorship of Orban. It's actually Hungary who threatens the EU, not the other way around.

Finally! Cutting those funds took forever. My country the Netherlands is paying for those funds to dictators. We don't get the funding they do. We are losing money on the EU.
