If NATO is the reason Russia attacked. Why not attack NATO. Russia borders NATO countries for years now. This isn't new. Why isn't Russia also invading Finland!? Finland is tactically much more of a threat to Russia than Ukraine.

@Adventures_Travelling You need to read a history book. Finland already lost a piece of their land to Russia. A nuclear war would end very badly for Europe, but not for the US. Russia would be fighting a Navy 15x the strenght of theirs. Maybe one submarine will make it. The US will destroy their submarines first. One push on the button and all of Russia is gone. Russia would've no chance. All the nukes are already in Europe. They would be surrendering within a week. You're overestimating Russia's army. They can't even win against Ukraine.

@Adventures_Travelling How would you feel if your neighbor treats you like a dog for a hundred years and than takes your land? You do realize that Ukraine has lost million of lives during Stalin and Lenin. They even thought the Nazi's were there to save them in WW2 until they did the same to them. Ukraine existed before Russia too, so Ukraine should be taking Russia's land. Crimea is actually from the Crimean Tartars. Hence the name. If these are your criteria's for taking land. European countries should have claim of all of South, Middle and North America. China can claim parts of Russia too. Mongolia, Italy, the Vikings and so on. All of the world would be at war.

Afghanistan they actually won. There's no ISIS or Taliban threat anymore at all. You can't stay forever in Afghanistan. It's not like they left because they were overrun by Taliban soldiers at all. Vietnam wasn't a great one i admit, but the Vietnamese were very good in underground warfare. Nothing like the Russian army.

@Adventures_Travelling It's was called the Soviet Union, not Russia. It's like saying the European union is one country. Think! Crimea is Russian too, right? Despite it's called after Crimean Tartars. So in your mind half of Germany and everything inbetween is Russian too. You're joking right? Mongolia or Italy should take over the world again. They were there before the Soviet Union. See your incredible stupidity with your comment.

@Adventures_Travelling I also suggest you find a map before the Soviet Union. You'll see a country named Ukraine on that map.

@Adventures_Travelling Kiev also existed before Moscow. So actually a Moscow born is actually a Ukrainian if we get technical. If we go even back further we find viking bloodlines. So Scandinavia has a claim on all of it.
